clearing up the last of my requests someone needed to know how to raycast in 2D? The important thing to remember is that Ray stays the same it doesn't need to be a ray 2D to work as long as the hit is physics raycast as 2D. #unity3d #unitytips pic.twitter.com/3JlrQtJcve— RKSlither_YT (@RKSlither_YT) December 16, 2018
Unity 3D AudioSources: use logarithmic rolloff. Volume then actually attenuates inversely to distance, as does sound pressure -> minDistance is your loudness on a linear scale.— Niko Stenberg (@niko_stenberg) December 17, 2018

Put your ears where your eyes are, just a like a hooman
Try and catch is super useful. You write what you want to do in try, if it hits an error it goes to the code in Catch and executes that. Though you could also write it differently I find this way more readable. #unitytips pic.twitter.com/mQTYEkIVLD— Shahriar Shahrabi (@IRCSS) December 18, 2018
The suspension force in a vehicle is related to its mass and acceleration, but not necessarily to the weight or gravity. In these three cases (g=-9.81, g=0, g=unknown) the suspension may be experiencing the same "weight", thus applying the same suspension force. #unitytips pic.twitter.com/qE8euPrrRw— Vehicle Physics (@VehiclePhysics) December 18, 2018

You'll have a much easier time managing pixel perfect sprites in #unity by using top-left sprite anchors. It might seem convenient in some scenarios to use center, but you'll likely run into half-pixel scaling issues or other headaches. #unitytips #gamedev #halfpixelsarentreal— babyjeans (@babyj3ans) December 26, 2018
